- Anne O'Reilly Andrews, 82, of West Hartford, widow of the late Thomas Lester Andrews died on Thursday, November 29 at UCONN Health Center. She was born in Hartford, growing up in West Hartford. She married her husband in West Hartford, and they lived most of their lives together in Kent, CT. Shortly after Tom's death, Anne returned to West Hartford to be near her siblings and new career. Anne worked for The Hartford Insurance Group. After retirement, she returned to her passion: babies! She became a foster mother through Department of Child and Family Services, and a cuddler at UCONN's NICU. Anne was a member of the quilt guild and has left a legacy of quilts to many. An avid, and voracious reader, Anne belonged to several book clubs, starting as a member at West Hartford Public Library. She is survived by four children and her siblings Mary Patrice Reynolds, Martha O'Reilly Keener, Brenda Milkofsky, and Edward O'Reilly. Anne was a courageous woman, who while pursuing her education and career, was always loving and supportive to her family. Calling hours will be held 1-3 PM, Sunday December 2 at Sheehan-Hilborn-Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Ave., West Hartford, CT, immediately followed by a service of remembrance 3-4 PM. Burial will be privately held at the Kent School Cemetery on Monday, December 3.
